Adult Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment is not just for children. Many adults are unhappy with their profile or smile. Realignment of teeth or reduction of protruding teeth often makes a person look years younger. Patients who have healthy teeth and supporting structures are never too old for orthodontic therapy. Today at least 30% of the patients undergoing orthodontic treatment are adults.

Dr. Krikonis
gives the option, for his adult patients, of the "invisible" braces also known as lingual. The lingual braces are the only non-visible form of orthodontic therapy. They are attachments placed on the back surface of the teeth so they are not being noticeable. Special instrumentation, equipment, doctor and staff training are required for this technique.
